If you’ve lived through something life-altering, such as a traumatic brain injury, invisible illness, emotional burnout, or just a quiet fight to stay afloat, your story matters here.

Broken But Resonant is built on honest storytelling and shared humanity. Whether you want to submit a written piece for the blog or be a guest on the podcast, I’d love to hear from you.

Sharing your story can be powerful, but it should also feel safe and informed. Broken But Resonant invites submissions for written pieces, interviews, or collaborations, prioritizing consent, clarity, and well-being.

Before submitting, please read the Story Submission Guidelines below. These explain your options for anonymity, editing approval, and ownership so you can share on your terms.

Use the contact form below or reach out directly at BrokenButResonant@gmail.com
(Please include a few details about your story, how you’d like to participate, and what you’re hoping to share.)
Editorial Note:
All stories are reviewed by the site creator, Peter Morande, to ensure clarity, respect, and safety.
As the project grows, an advisory team of peers and creative collaborators may be added to help guide submissions and maintain ethical standards.
Content Note Policy
Because stories shared through Broken But Resonant often explore sensitive or emotional topics, we encourage contributors to include a brief content note at the top of their story.
A content note is a simple way to let readers know what themes appear in your story so they can decide how and when to engage.
Examples:
Content note: discussion of chronic pain and medical trauma.
Content note: mentions of family conflict and grief.
Writers are not required to include content notes, but they are strongly encouraged. This practice helps keep the community safe, respectful, and mindful of different emotional experiences.
